3 Tips to Prevent Adult Acne Breakouts From Exercise

As we know, moderate exercise can helps to maintain a healthy body. Exercise not only can manage your stress levels, it also good for your skin. However you should examine your routine if your acne is aggravated by regular exercise. Adult acne can be caused by something you put on your body rather something you do with it.

You should take action to prevent making your adult acne condition getting worse. There are 3 things which you should know to prevent it from exercise.

Always Wear Sunscreen

If you have acne problem, you will need sun protection during exercise. In order to protect your face, sunscreens and sun blockers should be used regularly and liberally. Some research show that prolonged exposure will promotes sun damage and comedones. You also need to know that there are some acne medication which will makes skin more sensitive to the sun.

Dermatologist suggest that people who like out door should use the sunscreen which are oil-free and have a protection factor of at least SPF 15 for both UVA and UVB rays. You should try physical barrier sun blocks which contain titanium dioxide or zinc oxide if the chemical sunscreens cause stinging, irritation or worsening of your acne.

Avoid To Wear Synthetic Cloth

For those who having problem with body acne, try to wear cloth which made of natural fabrics during exercise. Unlike synthetic fabrics which can trap the heat and moisture against your skin, natural fabrics allow the skin to breathe. It is less likely to cause friction. If you're exercising vigorously and working up a good sweat, however you may want to try some of the new fabrics designed to wick moisture away from your skin.

Shower Off Immediately

When you exercise, your movement generates heat, clothing and equipment cause friction. Until you shower off, heat and moisture are trapped against your skin, creating an ideal breeding ground for the spread of bacteria. To sweat off your face, always use a clean towel and blot gently. It will be best if you shower off immediately and change into dry clothes after exercising.
